Reflecting

So today I started thinking about what I've gained from this trip. The first thing that came to mind is the ability to write a  10 page paper and read 4 books every week. I can't wait to go back to class at UGA and watch as everyone freaks out about the 2 papers due during the semester and think to myself- that's it? Another thing that I have gained is trip planning abilities. I had the opportunity to travel to London, Barcelona, Switzerland, Ireland, and France...twice. And I found out that trip advisor is your best friend, booking early is key, and apartments are the way to go. Probably the most important thing I have learned here is to trust myself. Before I came here I would have never thought I could handle this much work; but, I was here and I wasn't about to give up so I stayed positive and did my best. With one paper and a debate left, I'm attempting to remember all that I have gained from this trip and not give up. It has been an incredibly eye-opening summer and I've learned so much from my classes and from the people here. So as we finish up our last week here, I think it is important to reflect on all of the amazing things we have experienced.
